Cowden manager Dougie Hill today concluded a loan deal with Bonnyrigg Rose which brings striker Riley Haston to Central Park until January. Our thanks go to Bonnyrigg for making this deal possible. Riley signed a 2-year deal with Bonnyrigg Rose in the last few weeks after they agreed a transfer with his previous club Haddington Athletic. Riley was a regular scorer for Haddington at Under-20 level and made his breakthrough into their first team towards the end of last season. A number of clubs had noted his potential and we offer him a warm welcome to Cowdenbeath.
Danny Swanson really needs little or no introduction after a long and successful playing career both north and south of the Border including a Scottish Cup triumph with Dundee United. He has already impressed when helping us out as a trialist in a couple of games this season including a stand-out display at Forthbank. Danny has now officially put pen to paper and is now a Cowdenbeath player.
Club coach Gary Fusco has also been on the bench as a trialist a couple of times recently as Cowden faced ongoing injury problems. Thus, Gary has now been formally added to the player roster at Central Park.
