MATCH PREVIEW - TRANENT (H)

For our opening game in this season's Park's Motor Group Lowland League we welcome Tranent to Central Park with a 3pm kick off.


LAST TIME OUT

On Tuesday night we completed our pre-season games with a 3-1 win over Shotts Bon Accord with Sam Newman, Matty McDonald and Gregor Jordan all scoring at Hannah Park.


THE OPPOSITION

Tranent have finished in fifth place in each of their two seasons in the Park's Motor Group Lowland League.

Three of last season's side moved to Bonnyrigg Rose - Kallum Higginbotham, Sean Murphy and Kieran Sommerville, while Conor Doan, Scott Gray and Jonny Stewart moved in the opposite direction.

Lennon Walker moved to Caledonian Braves, Broque Watson joined East Kilbride and Former Central Parker Jack Duncan headed to Northern Ireland to join Portadown while Alan Horne, Aidan O’Mally also left Foresters Park at the end of last season.

Other new signings are Jake Hutchings from St Ives, Guy McGarry (Haddington Athletic), Adam McGowan (East Kilbride), Ben Stirling (Stenhousemuir), Joe Viola (Hutchison Vale), Danny Handling (Brechin City) and Harry Girdwood (Civil Service Strollers).
