Fanfare For Fusco

We are delighted to now announce that Gary Fusco is returning to Central Park. With our friendly programme set to kick off, manager Dougie Hill has moved to complete his coaching team by bringing in his former team-mate as a first team coach. Gary of course needs no introduction at all as one of Cowden's 2006 Championship heroes. He played in 139 games for Cowdenbeath in a career which spanned around 500 senior matches.

Dougie Hill said, after obtaining Gary's agreement, "Gary like myself is just starting his coaching journey. I’ve been lucky enough to have been in a changing room with Gary for 5 seasons, one of the best guys I’ve met in football - a winner and a leader. What Gary was as a player is exactly what I need my midfielders to add to their game. He will be invaluable in the changing room and in helping the development of our midfielders."
