Manager Dougie Hill was pleased today to conclude an agreement with Aaron Dunsmore which will see Aaron join Cowdenbeath once his existing deal with Stirling Albion expires in a couple of weeks.
Aaron can play in midfield and in defence. He started out as a youngster with Hibs before serving East Fife well for 5 years. He moved to Stirling Albion in 2022 and spent the latter part of last season on loan at Bonnyrigg Rose.
After arranging matters with Aaron, Dougie commented, "Delighted to get Aaron over the line, a versatile player who can play both midfield and defence though I feel Aaron’s best work can be done higher up the park. At only 27 he is vastly experienced at League 1-2 level."
Aaron also shared his thoughts saying, "I’m also delighted to get signed with Cowdenbeath. I played against Dougie for years and played alongside Paul last season so when they got in touch I was excited to get on board. Hopefully, I can help the club have a successful season and climb up that table."
