MATCH PREVIEW - EAST STIRLINGSHIRE (H)

Posted March 23, 2024

For our penultimate home game of the season, we welcome East Stirlingshire to Central Park with a 3pm kick off.

The previous meeting with the Shire was on Boxing Day when we won 3-2 at the Falkirk Stadium with Zac Butterworth scoring the winner in stoppage time, his second goal of the afternoon after Ciaran Chalmers had opened the scoring for us.

Ynyr Liddell and former Central Parker Callum Murray had twice levelled the score for Pat Scullion’s side.

Making a return to Central Park in the visitors’ squad is Morgaro Gomis who was signed from Malaysian side Kelantan Darul Naim in January once again teaming up with his former Central Park team mate 18 years after they both played in the Blue & White.

Also in the squad is Jamie Pyper while Sam Young returned to Dunfermline at the end of his loan and has now joined Gala.

LAST TIME OUT

It was a disappointing afternoon last Saturday as we went down 4-1 to Berwick at Central Park with Ewan MacPherson getting our consolation goal.
