Deal For Declan

We are delighted to welcome young defender Declan Turner to Central Park.

The Australian joins us from Chesterfield where he was part of their U23 squad last season. Having received international clearance, Declan is available for selection this evening.

Manager Calum Elliot spoke after the paperwork was finalised "Declan came highly recommended to us. He came and trained for a week and looked really good. He’s backed himself, moved up to Scotland for an opportunity.

He’s a typical Aussie - he's got an amazing attitude and can play a number of positions. He's got a lot to learn but there’s a player there. He’s a young boy, who we will need to be patient with but I’m sure he will grab the opportunity when it comes his way."
