MATCH PREVIEW - BROOMHILL (A)

It’s the first of two successive away games as we head to Dumbarton to face Broomhill with a 3pm

Our home game with the Broom ended as a goal less draw back August, while last season both games ended in 3-0 defeats.


LAST TIME OUT

Last Saturday despite playing most of the game with ten men after Ewan MacPherson was sent off we narrowly lost 2-1 to league leaders East Kilbride.


THE OPPOSITION

Stephen Swift’s side sit just a place below us in the table and two points behind although they have played a game more.

They have won eight of their 25 games beating Linlithgow Rose (2-0), Caledonian Braves (2-0), Edinburgh University (4-0), Civil Service Strollers (4-2 & 3-0), East Stirlingshire (4-3), Berwick Rangers (2-0) and Gretna 2008 (4-1).

Along with their goal less game at Central Park they have had three other draws against Tranent (0-0), Cumbernauld Colts (2-2) and Albion Rovers (1-1).

Their 13 defeats have come against East Kilbride (1-2), Gala Fairydean Rovers (2-3), Cumbernauld Colts (1-2), Hearts B (2-3), Bo’ness United (0-3), Gretna 2008 (0-1), Celtic B (1-2 & 0-2), University of Stirling (0-4), Caledonian Braves (1-3), Linlithgow Rose (0-1), Berwick Rangers (0-4) and Albion Rovers (1-2).
