Cowden and Brechin City will face each other in a winner takes all encounter on Sunday after the 1st leg of the Irn-Bru 1st Division Play Off ended goaless at Central Park tonight in front of a healthy crowd of 1,119 and the BBC ALBA cameras.

The Blue Brazil bossed the game throughout with most of the proceedings in the opposition half but the home side could not break down a well organised Brechin side. Paul McQuade came closest with a fine individual effort but was foiled by Craig Nelson.

Danny Lennon's team will now travel to Glebe Park on Sunday afternoon knowing victory for either side will secure 1st Division football next season.
