Berry Commits Future

We are pleased to confirm that Lucas Berry has extended his stay at Central Park until the end of the 2024/25 season.

The 21 year old midfielder joined Cowdenbeath from Edinburgh City last summer and has made 20 appearances so far this season chipping with in with two goals.

Upon penning the new deal, Lucas commented "Really happy to get this sorted after speaking to the gaffer and Colin. I enjoy it at the club and I look forward to kicking on personally and playing a part of the clubs future successes."

Manager Calum Elliot added "I am delighted Lucas has signed an extension. With his contact running out in January, for me it was a priority to keep him at the club.

He’s getting bigger, stronger week on week and he’s technically outstanding. Lucas is a great boy and a joy to work with. He’s got all the attributes to do well for himself and I’ll do my best to support him."
