MATCH PREVIEW - KILSYTH RANGERS (H)

We open our South Challenge Cup campaign as we welcome Kilsyth Rangers to Central Park for the first time with a 3pm kick off.


LAST TIME OUT

Last Saturday a last gasp goal deprived us of a Lowland League win against Gala at Central Park.


THE OPPOSITION

Kilsyth sit in in seventh place in the West of Scotland League Second Division, the third tier, with 11 points from eight games.

Last Saturday the lost 2-1 against Forth Wanderers which allowed their hosts to leapfrog them in the table.

So far, they have had league wins over Larkhall Thistle (3-1), Muirkirk (5-3) and Glasgow University (3-1). Their other points have come from draws with Bonnyton Thistle (1-1) and Glasgow Perthshire (1-1).

They have also lost to Caledonian Locomotive (0-3) and Maryhill (1-4). In the Scottish Junior Cup they lost 4-0 to Premier Division Arthurlie.

Top scorer is Nicky Prentice with 7 goals.
