It’s a second successive away match this afternoon as we head south to face Berwick Rangers at Shielfield Park with a 3pm kick off.
Berwick sit in ninth place on 11 points, two places and two points ahead of us although they have played a game more.
LAST TIME OUT
Last Saturday we suffered our first Lowland League defeat of the season when we went down to East Kilbride at K Park with Kilby now the only unbeaten side in the league.
After being two down at the break we fought back to get level early in the second half but the home side eventually scored another two goals to move top of the table.
THE OPPOSITION
The Borderers opened their Lowland League campaign with two defeats 1-0 to Caledonian Braves at Alliance Park and 2-1 at home to early pacemakers Bo’ness United at Shielfield Park.
Since then, they have been unbeaten in the subsequent league games with home draws against Cumbernauld Colts (0-0) and University of Stirling (2-2) and three wins at East Stirlingshire and at home to Celtic B both 2-1 and 3-1 away to Edinburgh University.
Last Saturday the beat our neighbours Crossgates Primrose 6-0 in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup.
