Cowden play their first home match of the new League campaign tomorrow and manager Calum Elliot has continued to focus on enhancing the squad for the season ahead. To that end he was delighted to complete the loan signing of Adam MacDonald (18) from Motherwell today. Midfielder Adam joined ‘Well in 2015 and has worked his way through the youth ranks at Fir Park. He has been capped at under-17 level by Scotland.
So it’s a very warm welcome to Central Park for Adam as he goes straight into our squad for tomorrow. And many thanks to Motherwell for agreeing to Adam’s move to Central Park.
Cowden boss Calum Elliot said once the paperwork was done, "We’re delighted that Adam has joined us. We have been in close contact with Motherwell recently, I now look forward to working with Adam. He is a talented boy, has a lot of attributes which we like and he’ll add real competition in the middle of the park."
Adam also shared his own thoughts after signing saying, "Buzzing to be here, it’s a great club and after speaking to the gaffer it was clear they’re very ambitious for the season ahead and can’t wait to get started."
