Josh Joins

Cowdenbeath FC are delighted to announce that they have agreed terms with goalkeeper Josh Blair.

Josh came through the Hibs academy, going out on loan to Gala Fairydean Rovers while at Easter Road. He then signed on at Broxburn Athletic for the 2022/23 season, making 29 appearances for The Badgers.

Those at Rosyth or Dalgety Bay will have seen Josh, 18, in action having played 90 minutes in our first pre-season friendly and making a second half cameo on Saturday past.

Football Operations Co-ordinator Colin Nelson commented "Happy that Josh has decided to join us on a 2 year deal. We had watched Josh a couple times at his previous club Broxburn and when he came in on trial, he showed up well at training and the pre-season games. He's a good lad who will fit in well with the squad."

Our new signing added "Absolutely delighted to be joining. Cowdenbeath are a massive club at this level and I’m looking forward to what will hopefully be a successful season. After speaking with the gaffer and Colin over the past few weeks, as well as working with Ricky the goalkeeping coach, it was clear that this is a club with ambition and something that I want to be a part of."
