New To Central Park : Jack Duncan

Joining Cowdenbeath FC on a pre-contract agreement is Caledonian Braves' defender Jack Duncan.

The towering centre back started his career at Livingston and had loan spells at East Stirlingshire and Dunbar United before joining The Braves in July 2021.

Like his current teammate, Zac Butterworth, we are thrilled to have secured Jack's signature as manager Calum Elliot explains "I’m delighted to welcome Jack to the club. Despite his age he’s a leader, has a real desire to improve and really do well for himself in the game. He has outstanding attributes.

Like Zac he’s benefited hugely from working under Ricky at The Braves. He was someone we have worked incredibly hard to join Cowdenbeath and I’m sure the fans will share a warm welcome to the club."

Jack shared his thoughts also "I’m over the moon to be here. After a lot of discussions with the gaffer and Colin it was a simple decision for me. Their vision to get back to league football was something I really wanted to be a part of. After two years with The Braves, I felt I was ready for the next step in my career and Cowdenbeath was a perfect fit. I’m delighted to have the opportunity to join the club and will do all I can to help get the club back where it belongs."
