Aiden Arrives

Cowdenbeath FC are delighted to confirm the signing of Aiden McLaughlin from Broomhill FC.

The 20 year old central midfielder came through the youth ranks at Hibernian before moving to the Fife Elite Football Academy. Aiden then continued his football journey by signing for East Fife. Despite making the bench on a few occasions, Aiden never featured for the Bayview side and moved on loan to Whitehill Welfare in October 2021 before signing permanently for Broomhill in January 2022. A regular in Simon Ferry's side last season, the left footed player chipped in with 4 goals.

After putting pen to paper for The Blue Brazil, Aiden commented "I’m delighted to have signed for the club and really looking forward to the season ahead. After speaking with the manager it seemed an exciting time to be at the club so I’m happy to be a part of it and can’t wait to get started."

Upon getting his man, manager Calum Elliot said "Aiden will be a fantastic addition to the club. He’s someone I’ve watched for 2 years since he joined Whitehill Welfare on loan. His development in the past year under Simon has taken his game to an other level. He will compliment the central midfield players already at the club and I look forward to welcoming him into the group next week."
