Match Preview: Alloa Athletic v Cowdenbeath

The Blue Brazil complete the league campaign at Recreation Park on Saturday afternoon knowing that they could face Alloa again next week in the 1st division play-off semi final.

Tuesday's 3-3 draw with Stirling Albion ended our title aspirations but a win on Saturday would secure a second place finish and end Alloa's own championship challenge in the process.

"We have to pick ourselves up after the disappointing end to the game on Tuesday night and get ourselves ready for the play offs", commented Danny Lennon.

"It has been a fantastic season for the club but we have the opportunity to take it one step further and we will be going all out for promotion."

Dene Droudge misses out once again while Craig Winter starts a two game suspension. Youngsters Dean Brett, Peter Bradley, Mark Torrance and Derek Wallace are added to the squad.
