A goal 5 minutes into injury time denied Cowden the win that would have taken the title race to the last day of the season as Stirling Albion fought back from 3-0 down to grab a draw.
The Blue Brazil made a whirlwind start to the game and had the league leaders on their knees with 3 first half goals from Darren McGregor and a Gareth Wardlaw double.
The home side were determined to learn lessons from the previous midweek when Brechin City turned around a 3 goal deficit and were containing Stirling comfortably despite Iain Russell pulling a goal back until disaster struck in the final minutes. Firstly Russell scored his second of the night with 3 minutes remaining before Andy Graham beat David Hay to a hopeful ball deep into injury time to even the scores.
