It’s the first of two successive away games as we head over the Kincardine Bridge to face East Stirlingshire with a 3pm kick off.
The season has been a disappointing one for both sides who sit on 32 points although we have played a game less.
Our previous meeting with the Shire back in October saw a 5-0 win at Central Park with Ewan Thomson bagging a brace along with Sean Slaven, David Struthers and Layton Bisland in what has been our biggest home win of the season.
Since then, long serving stalwart Derek Ure has stepped down as manager of our hosts and was replaced by Sandy Clark.
While we were going down to a 4-0 home defeat from another ex-SPFL side, Berwick Rangers, last week the Shire had a free week. However on Tuesday evening they went down 4-3 to Alloa in a friendly at the Indodrill Stadium.
With the departure of Maurice Ross on Thursday evening interim manager Colin Jack will take charge of the side at the Falkirk Stadium.
