It’s a second successive home game as we welcome Caledonian Braves to Central Park for the first time with a 3pm kick off.
The Braves sit in tenth place in the Lowland League after 28 games which have yielded 42 points. Only league leaders Rangers B have scored more goals than their 72 league goals although they have conceded 56. They have also scored a further 24 goals in the Scottish and South Challenge Cups.
Our previous meeting at Alliance Park in early November was a low scoring encounter by their standards with a Luke Main header six minutes into the second half separating the sides on a drab wet night.
They go into today's game on a three game winning run and overall in 2023 they have won five of their seven league and cup games.
For us last Saturday saw our first defeat of the year when we went down to a narrow 2-1 defeat from leaders Rangers B. Iain Davidson starts a two game suspension after being red carded in the Wee Gers game but Andy Black has resumed training this week and could be back in the squad along with new signing Sam Young.
