Following yesterday's game, Dan Watt had this to say "The game was a great team effort, especially in the tough conditions. It was a fantastic feeling to help secure a clean sheet for the team and I was thrilled to get on the score sheet.

I want to contribute in any way I can to the team's success. I will work hard to defend from the front and help link up play in the final third and it would be a bonus if I could add a few goals to my game as well.

I've been made to feel at home by the management and players since joining the team. The positive environment has been a great experience and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone even better over the season.

As a player, I believe my main strengths are my ability to link up play in the opposition half and my aerial presence in the box for crosses from our wide men."

Scott Walker added his thoughts on the game and his personal goals for the rest of the season. "The game went well, we were a bit sloppy in the first half but second half much better, we limited them to very little shots on goal and played the game in the right areas of the park. Wasn’t my best of games but was good to get the goal and help the team with a positive result and another clean sheet.

I just to play as many minutes as I can and help the team win in any way possible. It’s always good to get a few goals or assists so hopefully I can chip in with more of them.

I’ve enjoyed the place so far and the boys have been brilliant since I’ve came in. The training from the gaffer and Colin has been really good and they are giving me a lot of confidence and putting faith in me, so I’m really happy.

I can bring good leadership and calmness on the pitch. I have a good passing ability and good delivery of the ball and always looking to make an option for my team mates."
