Fan Meeting and AGM

Re the recent Facebook comment suggesting that Cowdenbeath FC’s AGM was overdue. It should be noted that that is not the case as there is actually no ‘due date’. Since 2007, Private Limited Companies such as Cowdenbeath FC do not require to hold an AGM.

We do though still prefer to have an AGM at a suitable time as it is an ideal opportunity to update Club shareholders and to allow them to express their views. Covid disrupted things but we had a Shareholders Meeting almost exactly a year ago at Central Park in December 2021 – plus there was another meeting in April involving many shareholders and other interested parties. In any event, it is our intention to have an AGM soon – the annual accounts for the club for the year ending 30 June 2022 are currently being completed by our accountants. Once these are to hand then we will arrange said AGM at Central Park. 

We also of course had a fans’ meeting at the Junction Bar not very long ago and as promised there will be a further open meeting for fans to come along and put over their points of view plus have their questions answered by club representatives. The next such meeting will take place at Central Park at 7pm on the evening of Tuesday 10 January 2023. So why not come along and voice your views in person.
