There is a very busy schedule of games ahead for Cowdenbeath fans in December as well as all the excitement of the Festive Season. This Festive Season, Cowdenbeath FC are delighted to be actively participating in the SPFL Trust Transfer Zone and Festive Friends initiatives. Cowdenbeath FC, Cowden in the Community and the Junction Bar Cowdenbeath Supporters Club have firstly teamed up to deliver the SPFL Transfer Zone Initiative to our local area. As regards the Transfer Zone, the match v Celtic B will have collection points for food and clothing at the turnstiles which will be staffed by volunteers. We are asking both Home and Away fans to 'transfer' (Donate) food and/or clothing if possible which will then be directed to the Cowdenbeath Foodbank.
As well as at the Match, donations can also be handed in to Central Park on Mondays (12.00 to 14.30), Tuesdays (11.00 to 14.30) and Thursdays (11.00 to 13.00) or at the Junction Bar Monday to Friday (17.00 to 20.00), Saturdays (12.00 to 16.00), and Sundays (12.00 to 15.00). Your support of this initiative will really make a difference.
In addition, in recognition that the Festive period can sometimes be a lonely time for the elderly, we are also offering a £1 entry for over 65s (when pre booked via our Ticket Tailor Advance Ticketing system - which will go live for this match in the next day or two) - all of whom will also receive a voucher at the turnstile that will entitle them to a free hot drink from our catering kiosk. So why not bring along an elderly relative or neighbour with you to enjoy the match.
Given that there is a Premier League shutdown, it would be nice to welcome Celtic fans to Central Park and also for them to take advantage of this offer. And for all fans at the match why not drop in to the Andy Matthew Lounge in the ground after the game and enjoy a drink whilst watching the World Cup quarter final on TV at 3pm.
