After a three week break, which has seen more Prime Ministers than Lowland League games, we finally get back into action this afternoon when we meet Berwick Rangers at Shielfield Park with a 3pm kick off.
A one time stable fixture on the SPFL schedule we meet the Borders at Lowland League level for the first time.
Our last game three weeks ago of course saw us beat then league leaders East Kilbride 1-0 thanks to a Sam Newman at K-Park.
A win this afternoon could see us catch Berwick in the table as they are three points and two places above us having played a game more.
Recent weeks have seen our hosts lose their last three games – 3-1 at Dalbeattie for Stars first win of the season, 0-3 at Spartans in the South Challenge Cup and 3-0 to Rangers B in the league at Dumbarton last Saturday.
Their last win came a month ago when the beat Edinburgh University at Peffermill.
