MATCH PREVIEW - OG BROOMHILL (H)

We open our home Lowland League fixtures tonight as we host Open Goal Broomhill with a 7.45pm kick off.

It is the first ever meeting of the two clubs with the visitors having two former Cowden players in their revamped squad Kieran Gribbons and Gary Fraser.

OGB got their season off to a winning start on Saturday when they beat The Spartans 2-1 at their new home Broadwood Stadium which they will share with Cumbernauld Colts.

For us it was a disappointing start to the league campaign on Saturday afternoon when we went down to Celtic B after playing for over 70 minutes with ten men after Jack Garrad was sent off.

Garrad joins our ever growing number players side lined for tonight’s game, as he serves a suspension, as does Cammy Graham who also went off injured just before half time at the Excelsior Stadium.

Daniel Martins and Scott Sinclair are also on the injury list although the later would have missed the weekend game anyway as he was carrying over a suspension from his Bo’ness Athletic days.
