Vacancy - Physiotherapist / Sports Therapist

Job Title: Part Time, First Team Physio / Sports Therapist
Location: Based at Central Park, Cowdenbeath
Hours: Tuesday & Thursday Evenings.Saturday Matchdays
Salary: Dependent on qualifications/experience

Cowdenbeath Football Club are looking to recruit a part-time Physiotherapist to provide medical services for all the first team players. The Physiotherapist will work along with the Club Doctor/Sports Scientist to develop and deliver injury prevention strategies, S&C programmes and deliver rehab to injured players. To help maximise player performance, enhance recovery and reduce the likelihood of injuries within the first team.

The position may suit a student in their final year of study in the relevant discipline
 

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

• Lead the Assessment & Treatment of Injuries
• To provide pitch side cover for all Cowdenbeath FC Home &Away fixtures
• Ensure all relevant First Team Management Staff are clearly communicated to on a regular basis with regards to all medical issues and injuries
• Oversee the development and implementation of prehab and rehab programmes

 
Essential Qualifications:

• Bsc (Hons) / Msc Physiotherapy / HND Sports Therapy

Desired Experience :

• Experience working pitch side / matchdays in sport
• Knowledge of sports specific strapping
• Sports First Aid Qualification
• Ideally has their own transport
