It’s the final cinch League Two game of the season as we welcome Albion Rovers to Central Park with a 3pm kick off.
Although not meaningful in the sense of moving anywhere, we will be looking to extend our unbeaten run to seven games ahead of our play off games over the next few weeks.
Games with Rovers have seen each side win at Cliftonhill this season while our last Central Park encounter in December ended in a goal less draw. Back in September goals from Max Wright and Kyle Doherty either side of Ross Clarke’s equaliser gave Rovers a 2-1 win. The return to Coatbridge in January saw a 1-0 win for us courtesy of a Fraser Mullen penalty.
After sealing their SPFL status last month with a 0-0 draw against Elgin, Rovers have suffered heavy defeats from Stranraer (0-5) and Stenhousemuir (1-4) but last week they got a 1-1 draw with Stirling.
