Hat trick for Lennon

Danny Lennon picked up his third Irn-Bru Second Division manager of the month award of the season at Hampden Park this afternoon. The Blue Brazil boss won the award in both October and November and has now added March to the collection.

"It is fantastic to get recognition on behalf of a fantastic group of players and backroom staff", said a delighted Lennon.

"We were favourites for relegation this season but have shown a team spirit and brand of football that everyone can be proud of. We are in the promotion mix on merit and, if our season was to finish tomorrow, I would be delighted with what the players have achieved this term.

"We will continue to aim higher and take each game as it comes. There are six games left and all we can do is  do our best and see where that takes us."

The month began with a comprehensive 6-2 derby victory over East Fife and the Blue Brazil remained unbeaten over the course of a further five matches before losing narrowly at Stirling Albion at the end of the month.
