Just ten days after we went down to a narrow defeat at Central Park, we head north to face Forfar Athletic at Station Park this afternoon with a 3pm kick off.
Craig Thomson had given Forfar the lead midway through the first half with Fraser Mullen levelling before the interval, and while a draw seemed to be looming Andy Munro popped up to head home the winner for the Angus side.
It was Munro, who has scored nine goals this season, who opened the scoring when the sides last met at Station Park in November. We had held out until the 77th minute before the big centre half opened the scoring with Grant Anderson and Matty Aitken scoring in the closing minutes to give Forfar a 3-0 win.
Earlier in the season, back in mid September, the sides fought out a 1-1 draw at Central Park where Aitken gave the Loons a half time lead before Craig Thomson levelled with eight minutes to go.
After being in second place for most of the season Forfar have now slipped down to third place in the table five points behind the inform Annan and seven ahead of fourth place Edinburgh City.
Sam Denham who has missed our last two games due to injury returns to the squad today but recent signing Chris Aikamhenzie misses out through injury while there is a doubt over Craig Thomson.
