After our narrow defeat at Stirling on Tuesday night, our fourth successive loss by a single goal, we head to Stair Park this afternoon with a 3pm kick off.
As we enter the final quarter of the season we go into the match seven points adrift of second bottom Albion Rovers.
The three previous encounters this season have gone in favour of the Blues who have won all three matches. Back in August things started brightly at Central Park when Liam Buchanan gave us the lead early in the second half but two goals in the closing eight minutes from Josh Rennie and Grant Gallagher turned the match in favour of the visitors.
Our last trip to Stair Park in December was settled by first half goals from Matty Yates and Tommy Muir. Then the following month they left Central Park with another win with Yates scoring from the penalty spot with five minutes to go.
Since then their form has been patchy with one win, two draws and three defeats the latest being last Saturday when they went down 4-1 at Annan. This leaves them in sixth place on 32 points, 11 points off the last promotion play off spot and 13 ahead of us.
