The Board, players and management of Cowdenbeath FC would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who came along on Saturday and gave the lads out there on the park such tremendous backing in a our 2-0 win over Elgin City. It was a memorable moment when the fans raised the roof as Andy Barrowman hit home the injury time clincher.

A key driver behind the an enhanced home support for his match of course was the marvellous sponsorship provided by Nottingham Supporting Cowden Miners who worked in close partnership with the club to produce such an attractive package for game day - in particular with kids being admitted free. That combined with what happened on the park made for a great day and a triumph of team work all round. The Board of Cowdenbeath FC would like to extend a very special thanks as well as our appreciation to Jimmy Blair and all those involved in Nottingham Supporting Cowden Miners - we know how proud and delighted they were that they could make a difference and how their efforts bore fruit.

The youngsters in attendance gave the boys great support and the team fully deserved their ovation at the end. In addition, several of our young fans were delighted to pick up prizes in the half time draw in which they all had free entry. The winning tickets were:
