With all of our games completed for the year we look back on 2021.
Due to lockdown, our first game of the year wasn’t until Saturday 20th March when we faced Annan Athletic at Galabank with the match ending goal less and the home sides Nathan Flanagan picking up a red card with 20 minutes to go. The line up that afternoon was – Nicky Hogarth, Fraser Mullen, Ryan Finnie, Jamie Todd, Craig Barr, Harvey Swann (Iain Russell 78), Kyle Miller, Gavin Morrison, Graham Taylor, Robbie Buchanan & Kris Renton. Subs not used – Mac Whyte, Ross Pollock, Jacob Glass, Lennon Watson, Mikey Herd, Lewis Owens & Craig Easton.
Gavin Morrison then scored our first goal of the year in a home 1-1 draw with Stranraer,
The year was to close with a 2-1 defeat from Edinburgh City with Liam Buchanan coming off the bench to head home our last goal of 2021.
Liam was our top scorer during the year, hitting the net nine times with Kris Renton scoring seven goals.
Overall goal scoring was a problem with our two biggest wins being by just a two goal margin – A 2-0 win at Stenhousemuir and a 3-1 home win over Elgin in August.
Our biggest defeats both came against Stirling Albion 1-5 at Central Park in April and 0-4 at Forthbank Stadium in September.
