MATCH PREVIEW - STIRLING ALBION (H)

Posted December 4, 2021

After a month away from Central Park we play the first of three home games in December when we face Stirling Albion with a 3pm kick off.

The previous meeting with the Binos back in September saw us go down 4-0 at Forthbank Stadium. Jack Leitch and Dylan Mackin had Stirling two up at half time with Dale Carrick and Dylan Bikey adding to the scoring in the closing seven minutes.

Since then, our visitors have only won one of their of their six League Two games but still remain in the promotion play off places although they dropped to fourth place following Annan’s win over Edinburgh City last night. That win came at Elgin and subsequently they have draw with Stranraer and Kelty but have lost their last three league games against Stenhousemuir, Albion Rovers and Edinburgh City.

It has been a different story in the Scottish Cup however with wins over non league Berwick and Tranent being rewarded with a trip to Ibrox to face Rangers.

The Binos will be without the suspended Ray Grant while Martin McNiff, Paul McLean and Dyan Bikey are listed as being injured ahead of the game.
