Remembrance

On Saturday, before our derby match at Central Park along with our neighbours Kelty Hearts we honoured the memory of the fallen – the club and the Central Park Community Trust will also be laying wreaths at the service at the Cowdenbeath WW2 memorial next Sunday.

These will be laid on behalf of everyone at Central Park and on behalf of all the Supporters of Cowdenbeath FC. We particularly remember at this time our 3 ex-players who fell – Charlie Scott (WW1) and George Scott and George Jordan (WW2) – and former club secretary Andrew Seath killed at Passchendaele in 1916 whilst serving with the Australian forces.
