MATCH PREVIEW - ANNAN ATHLETIC (A)

After last week’s Scottish Cup defeat we get quickly back into Cinch League Two action as we head to Galabank to face Annan Athletic with a 3pm kick off.

Our last meeting with Peter Murphy’s side, on 28th August, was the start of our current run of ten games without a win. Things had started brightly enough with Robbie Buchanan having given us a half time lead but two goals early in the second half from Tony Wallace and Iain Anderson turned the game on its head with Wallace getting a second goal late on to give Annan a 3-1.

Annan have spent the season in the play off places but have lost four out of their last five League Two games leaving them in fourth place with 15 points from their opening ten games.

Last Saturday they progressed into the Third Round of the Scottish Cup with a 3-1 home win over East of Scotland League side Jeanfield Swifts.
