Blue Brazil TV - Videographer Opportunity

Cowdenbeath FC are looking for a videographer to join our small media team for season 2021/22. This is a voluntary position which provides an ideal opportunity for someone interested in developing and advancing their camera operating and editing skills. They can build their skills and experience whilst working in a football environment with an SPFL club.

The successful candidate will:

• Operate the camera for live streaming on Blue Brazil TV, the Club’s PPV service.
• Film, edit and produce a highlights package to be uploaded to the Club’s YouTube channel.
• Film and edit post-match interviews with managers/players as required.
• Be available to work match days as required (the role is limited to home games only).
• Comply with all Club policies and requirements.

An ideal candidate will have :

• First-hand experience using a camcorder.
• Demonstrable experience in video production and editing.
• Access to transport to/from games at Central Park.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work.

The successful candidate will have suitable editorial control over content and the role will suit someone who can use their own initiative and who is willing to contribute in terms of ideas and innovation. Flexibility and team work are also key attributes.

The Club has the requisite filming equipment but the successful candidate would normally be expected to use their own editing software and hardware.
