MATCH PREVIEW – ANNAN ATHLETIC (A)

It’s our closing away game of the season as we head south to face Annan Athletic at Galabank.

This will be our second visit to Dumfriesshire since the league reopened with the sides fighting out a goal less draw on our last visit in March. Annan are of course the only League 2 side not to have played at Central Park this season.

Our opening day 3-0 loss to Peter Murphy’s took place at Bayview Stadium as our home was ruled out due to flood damage. Nathan Flanagan, Iain Anderson and Jack Purdue got the Athletic goals that afternoon.

Annan’s 3-0 win at Glebe Park on Thursday ensured that Brechin will finish the season in bottom place. Both sides will go into the match knowing that a win could see them move further up the table.
