MATCH PREVIEW – STRANRAER (H)

We’re back in action at Central Park for the first time since Boxing Day with Stranraer being our belated first foots.

Our previous meeting at Stair Park in early November saw the home side run out 2-0 winners with Thomas Orr and Joao Victoria scoring in each half while we ended the game with ten men after Robbie Buchanan was sent off.

That win kick started the Blues season and since then they have lost only one game, a 3-0 defeat from Queen’s Park at Hampden last Saturday, in their last 13 league and cup games.

On Tuesday night they bounced back from their defeat against the league leaders to beat Brechin 2-0 at Stair Park with Andy Stirling and Orr on the score sheet. The result left Stranraer in joint second place along with Stirling Albion five points behind the Spiders.

Our new loan signings Kyle Hutton, Zander Miller and Ryan Adamson join the squad for what is a busy week ahead.
