Cowden keeper Mac Whyte will be unavailable for the next two matches thus manager Gary Bollan has had once again to arrange a 7 Day Emergency Goalkeeper Loan – made even more complex by the deadline for PCR testing for this Saturday.

Thanks therefore are due to Bo’ness United for agreeing to the loan of Ryan Adamson for the next week. He now joins his Bo’ness colleague Zander Miller at Central Park.

Ryan is a local lad and previously played for Crossgates Primrose, Burntisland Shipyard and in L2 for Edinburgh City. He has been with Bo’ness since 2019 but of course has been sitting on the sidelines in recent months since the Lowland League campaign was suspended.

Amazingly, Ryan is the 11th Emergency Goalkeeper Loan Cowdenbeath have had to arrange in the last two years – we are becoming experts in what is expected normally to be a rare requirement!
