Festive Friends 2020

Cowden stars Cian Kavanagh and Jamie Pyper took a little time out from training this week to lend their support to Cowdenbeath FC’s participation in the SPFL Trust Festive Friends initiative.

Of course, this year’s Festive Friends event will be a bit different from those of past years due to the Covid situation. This Christmas the Club will pack 30 boxes containing food and gifts and deliver these to elderly people within the community who may be in danger of social isolation. Our Festive Friends initiative for Christmas 2020 is being undertaken in partnership with Aldi Cowdenbeath who are supplying the food and the Rotary Club of Cowdenbeath who are assisting with packing and delivering the boxes on Xmas Eve.

Festive Friends will yet again help ensure a Happy Xmas to some of those most deserving in our local community.
