Loan Signing Swoop

Cowdenbeath FC Manager Gary Bollan moved quickly to bolster his squad on a temporary basis on the eve of the new League campaign.

With the junior season not scheduled to begin until 21 November, Gary has arranged two temporary loan deals with Broughty Athletic - who we of course played in a pre-season friendly.

Coming to Central Park on loan we firstly have experienced centre back Graham Hay. Graham has been with the Fed since 2017 and has also enjoyed spells as a senior with Dundee, Arbroath, Brechin and Montrose. We are delighted to have Graham joining our ranks.

Our second loan signing from Broughty Athletic is a man who needs no introduction - indeed he scored a legendary goal at Central Park in the 2018 play off match v Cove Rangers - midfield man Brad Smith. Brad was a popular player in his time with us and of course scored in the match v Cowden just last month. Welcome back Brad!
