Cian for Cowden

Cowdenbeath manager Gary Bollan last night secured the signature of striker Cian Kavanagh (17) after he featured as a trialist in Cowden’s friendly games v Dundee North End and Montrose. Cian hails from Dublin and came through the youth ranks of St Patrick’s Athletic. Cian scored twice in St Pats 4-0 win over Cork City in the 2018 National U15 Cup Final in Ireland.

Hearts then secured his transfer at the start of last season and he was part of the Tynecastle club’s development squad in 2019/20. We now look forward to seeing Cian in competitive action at Central Park and wish him every success in the season ahead.
