Cowdenbeath FC are now finalising and putting in place the required protocols, education, procedures, testing and monitoring processes, and other arrangements to allow for a Return to Training in September. This has been a very challenging task and more such demanding work will follow as we move towards the desired return to playing and then spectating in League 2.
The pressure of this work has been exacerbated by the recent flooding at Central Park. Extensive remedial work is now underway but in essence the ground floor has had to be completely cleared with some parts being gutted of fixtures, fittings, furniture, floor coverings, etc. At least 22 days dehumidification of the ground floor are now required. Silt must be removed from the drainage system, floors will be taken up and extensive repairs and refurbishment are necessary. This means the dressing rooms are out of bounds and the Club Office will not be reopened for some time. We do recommend that Season Ticket purchases, Sponsorships, etc are taken forward online as previously advertised - click here for full details.
