Part 4 of the Cowdenbeath FC history trilogy!?

We recently published the 3 Volume history of Cowdenbeath FC 1880-2020. The 3 volumes (the Signalmen, the Miners, the Blue Brazil) tell the story of Cowdenbeath FC in words and pictures. Now we have published a 4th volume of the History — sort of! It hasn’t now become a four volume trilogy! Instead we are pleased to announce the publication of a companion volume to the Club History.

‘Still Flying the Flag’ is an illustrated Oral History of Cowdenbeath FC. The story is told primarily by those who have played for the club over the years. Extracts from interviews with around 70 players are at the heart of this history. Players (and managers) such as Bob Middleton, John Miller, Basher Murphy, Denis Jack, Billy Mullen, Billy Steele, Paddy Wilson, Stewart Williamson, Dick Baillie, John Wright, Colin Scott, Mark Yardley, Darren McGregor, Greg Stewart, Dean Brett, etc.

Still Flying the Flag’ is an essential complementary publication to the trilogy — adding a fresh perspective on the Club history. The new booklet is again priced at £4 (£5.70 including postage). The best method to get a copy for now is by making a £5.70 donation to Club 135 via the club’s website and that figure will automatically trigger an order.
