MATCH PREVIEW – ALBION ROVERS (H)

It’s Tuesday night football under the lights as we welcome Albion Rovers with a 7.45pm kick off.

The game gives us a quick opportunity to return into third place after dropping out of the top three for the first time since August following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Edinburgh City. Rovers lost 2-1 at home to Elgin at the weekend to remain in ninth place.

There has only been one meeting of the sides so far when we won 1-0 at Central Park in late September with a Fraser Mullen penalty separating the sides.

Former Cowden players returning to Central Park with Rovers are Ryan Goodfellow, Aron Lynas and Declan Byrne.

Chris Hamilton serves the final game of his suspension but Mikey Herd is likely to return to the squad after missing the weekend game due to flu.
