It’s the final game of 2019 on Saturday when we face Edinburgh City at Ainslie Park with a 3pm. kick off.
City sit in second place nine points ahead of us although they have played a game more, and are just two behind leaders Cove.
The previous meeting of the sides at Central Park early in October saw a 1-0 win courtesy of a David Cox goal while City played out the second half with 10 men after Craig Thomson was sent off just before the break.
That was one of just three league defeats the capital side have lost having being beaten 5-0 on the opening day at Cove and against Queen’s Park at Hampden Park when they went down 2-1 to the Spiders.
They have been on a run of three successive wins following that Hampden loss beating Cove, Annan and Stirling Albion last Saturday when it took an injury time goal from Allan Smith to secure the points at Forthbank.
For us David Cox, Robbie Buchanan and Kris Renton are now free of suspension although the later will be missing for some time after suffering a fractured jaw at Brechin a fortnight ago.
