MATCH PREVIEW – ELGIN CITY (A)

Saturday afternoon sees the Ladbrokes League Two season open when we head north to face Elgin City at Borough Briggs with a 3pm kick off.

The Betfred Cup saw a fourth place finish for Gavin Price’s side in Goup C with a 3-0 home win over Stirling Albion, a 3-3 draw at Alloa which eventually saw a 6-5 win in the penalty shoot out and defeats from Arbroath 2-1 at Gayfield Park and Hibernian 2-0 at Borough Briggs before the live BT Sport cameras.

In midweek a young Elgin side went down 11-2 to Forres Mechanics in the North of Scotland Cup.

Fraser Mullen misses the trip north due to suspension.
