The top two in the Betfred Cup Group A go head to head when we meet Hearts at Central Park with a 7.45pm kick off.
While we beat East Fife on Saturday to lead the group, Hearts were held to a draw by old manager Robbie Neilson’s Dundee United side at Tynecastle on Friday night - although they won the bonus point winning the penalty shoot out 5-3 after the 90 minutes had ended 1-1.
It was a night of mixed emotion for Andy Irving, the son of the former Cowden player of the same name who was a member of our 1992 promotion winning side, who scored his first Hearts goal but was sent off late in the match for a handball.
