MATCH PREVIEW – EAST FIFE (H)

This afternoon we open our regular season with a visit from neighbours East Fife in our opening Betfred Cup Group A game, with a 3pm kick off.

Last season the sides met in the Irn Bru Cup with the Methil side getting their first win at Central Park since April 1994.

After two pre season away games Cowden fans will get the first opportunity to see manager Gary Bollan’s six new signings in action this afternoon.

Last night the group opened with Hearts drawing 1-1 with Dundee United at Tynecastle Park with the home side winning 5-3 on penalties to take an extra bonus point.
