As many will know, this season marks the historic 50th Anniversary of the club winning promotion into the old First Division in 1969/70. The new season coincidentally also marks the 50th anniversary of Brazil’s historic triumph in the 1970 World Cup. Who can ever forget Brazil moving the ball around with ease, and toying with their opponents, until the great Carlos Alberto drilled a first time shot into the bottom corner?

Of course, watching Cowdenbeath is just like watching Brazil, hence the club’s famous nickname: The Blue Brazil.

To celebrate this 50th anniversary, our away kit for 2019/20 will see us take to the pitch in vibrant yellow & blue that’s reminiscent of Pele & company.
