MATCH PREVIEW – EDINBURGH CITY (H)

We start a run of two successive home league games on Saturday when we host Edinburgh City with a 3pm kick off.

City were of course long time league leaders but now trail current leaders Peterhead by five points with five games still to play.

So far City have won all three meetings of the sides this season. A Conrad Balatoni goal separated the sides at Ainslie Park in September and the capital side went one better at Central Park in December with goals from the deadly duo of Scott Shepherd and Blair Henderson while we saw Jason Talbot red carded.

They also recorded a 2-0 on our return to Ainslie Park in March with Craig Thomson and Henderson once more getting the goals while we saw a Gary Fraser penalty saved by Calum Antell and David Cox sent off.
